Sandra, Dorinda, Araba and Joseph were seeded in Group 2 during the Debate Task

Michael, Elorm, Afumaa and Anastacia were seeded in Group 1 during the Great Debate

The judges for the debate were up to the task as they scored the groups and the candidates on diverse criteria including clarity of thought and vivid facts.

The Moderator for the debate Kojo, posed a question on "Should fathers be given paternity leave" to one of the Groups during the debate

The Groups were given a short duration to prepare for the next topic and Group 2 had a discussion in preparation for that

While preparing for the next topic, Group 1 also gathered to prepare during the Great debate because it was getting hotter and highly competitive and they needed to put their heads together

The judges for the Great Debate had their discussions during the debate on the scoring and the performance of the groups

Araba was the Principal Speaker on one of the topics for Group 2 and she stepped out of her podium to challenge some of the asertions made by Michael during the debate.

Michael who was also the pricipal speaker for Grup 1 on one of the topics made s strong counter assertion during the debate on "the fourth estate is a myth"

The Host of the Challenge, Kojo Opon Nkrumah moderated the debate and probed the groups and individuals as necessary to get the real nuggets out of the points and assertions they were making against each other and to the audience

The stage was all set as Michael, Elorm, Afumaa and Anastacia were standing for Group 1 to debate on issues with their opponents in Group 2

Sandra, Araba, Dorinda and Jospeh were in Group 2, battle ready as they also mounted the stage and stood behind their podiums to out-debate their opponents

The British Council auditorium was filled to capacity with fans and family members of the Challenge candidates as the debate began with mixed feelings

The Host of the show, Kojo moderated the debate and counter asked the group members on some of the points and assertions they made individually

The audience that came to observe the debate at the British Council Auditorium were given the opportunity to vote for their favourite Group by text and they did.
