About Me
Enoch Nii Boi Quaye was born on the 4th December, 1983, to Mr Emmanuel Aryee Quaye (renowed retired table tennis coach) and Mrs Esther Quaye (dance instructor). Being the last of four sons (Emmanuel, Lawrence and Isaac) has been my greatest pride of all time.
I have resided in Mataheko a suburb of Accra for all of my life. My primary education commenced at Seven Great Princess Academy (Lartebiokorshie) from 1990-2000, where I contracted the friendship of very great individuals and personalities who are well regarded in my life. With them, I have almost all past and memorable events to share.
I continued my education to the Presbytarian Boys Secondary School (Legon) from 2001-2003, where I studied General Arts (Economics, Elective Math, and Geography). Being a mate of RIIS HOUSE and holding the position of assistant house counsellor really aided me with my self realisation proccess. And i can confidently confess that I would have missed it all in life if I had failed to acknowledge this self realisation.
I am very jovial, affable and never lose the opportunity to make new friends. I am a very imaginative fast visual learner, always searching and seeking to give meaning to events that happen around me as an effective learning process. I have my strength embedded in mathematical analysis, which i have over the years been trying to apply efficiently to any field I find myself. I love playing the guitar, listening to music and watching movies. When not busy, I spend my time in a long creative and productive imagination of my life in the future.
I have an unyielding sprit which keeps my very active and never gives me any rest until tangible results are realised in my daily activities. My main weakness used to be within the social circuit of my life, when I used to be timid and more reserved. But getting to the beginning of my undergraduate studies, i took drastic measures to bridge those weaknesses. I got more engaged in public discussions, social activities and games. I learned to play the guitar and joined the singing band in church.
I also joined a private jazz band where we played for various social gatherings on campus. For now, i rather find it easier to relate with everyone around me. I now aim at building a strong interpersonal relations.
I recently graduated with a second class upper degree honours in Economics and Statistics. I hold this achievement in very high esteem because of the unforgetable events that sourround its realisation). I am now a service person with the Institute of Statistical Social and Economic Research (ISSER) on the University of Ghana campus.
My main interest is now positioned in the field of Insurance and Risk management which i am aggressively pursuing by undertaking courses with the Society of Actuaries (SOA) where I am now on the second of nine (9) papers.
In the near future ( approximately 6 years), I will be an actuary and open a consultancy firm to offer services on managerial, reputational, operational, financial and investment risk to organisations and firms.
I believe my life unfolds with the moment and for that reason i am always ready and up to the task.
Why people should vote to keep me in the house :
I believe being the winner will allow me, to use my unique imbedded quality, to sell and serve this nation and to leave a long lasting impression of Ghanaian students on the international front.
Why i decided to take part in the challenge :
For the opportunities, the exposure and development, the rare enlightenment and chance to a brighter future.
