Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.

About Me
Dorinda was born on 4th April, 1985 to Selorm and Benita. I was born and bred in Accra but my dad is from Adafienu in the Volta Region, that makes me an Ewe and I am really proud to be one. I am yet to visit my village (which is a shame), but fortunately I do speak the language (Anlo). Selorm and Senam are twins and they come after me.
I started my basic education at New Hope School but left for Prince of Peace Academy where I completed. I chose Ghana national College as my first choice, because I had a cousin there and he told us stories about the place and I wanted to experience it. I am an Arts girl because I love reading and writing so I wanted to offer Arts. Fortunately or unfortunately I was offered science. I loved National.
I held various positions there ranging from the Chief Editor of the Editorial Board, House secretary, President of Globe (Geography Club) among others. I moved on to the University of Ghana where I read geography, philosophy and psychology. I majored in psychology. I am currently a Human Resource Assistant (national service personnel at Databank Group).
Just like everyone else I also moved from different career choices like a surgeon, lawyer, engineer, psychologist, Human resource manger but now I want to be a business development manager. I am so sure of this because I am passionate about Business and I want to change the face of businesses in Ghana so that they can compete internationally.
Things have not been smooth for me but I would not change anything if I had the chance to, because all these experiences have made me who I am today.
Why people should vote to keep me in the house :
Vote for me because I am a dynamic, intelligent and a simple young lady who gives to others the little that I have. Winning the challenge will give me the opportunity to give even more to those who really need it. I promise to give off my best in this competition so please vote for me. Thank you.
Why i decided to take part in the challenge :
The challenge will give me with a unique opportunity to develop myself by furthering my education and studying a programme I have always wanted to read but not readily available here in Ghana. The experience will equip me to face this very dynamic world since I believe that by going through this experience I will be fully developed and at the end give back to my society whatever I have learnt.
