A Challenger with the Panel
The eight candidates took turns to answer questions from a four member panel - Mr. Richard Oppong, Human Capital Unit of the United Bank for Africa (UBA), Dr. Pascal Brenya, A Management Consultant and a Faculty Member, Dolores Opon-Acolatse, CEO of Options Group Limited and a Faculty Member and Mr. Kobina Ata-Bedu, Acting Human source Manager of TIGO. The questions centered on their personality, temperament, ambitions for life, managerial skills, conflict management skills, working experiences, social life as well as current affairs about the country.

At the end, Dr. Brenya noted, “most of the candidates lack self awareness and had little knowledge about the country”. Mr. Richard Oppong advised the candidates to do some background research on the company they want to work with. He said, “During interviews, you need to be analytical so that you can answer any question on your feet”. Mr. Kobina Atta-Bedu asked the candidates to be serious whenever they go for interviews. Dolores Opon-Acolatse on the other hand, asked them to read more about the country and endeavour to always go for an interview armed with the necessary information.
