JESK Commissions Snail Farm

As part of “The Challenge” Joseph, Enoch, Sandra and Katherine have commissioned a Snail Farm worth over GHC 1,000 for the Foster Home at Frafraha a suburb of Accra in Ghana on Sunday, 31st May. This task – The Socioeconomic Task which spanned from the beginning of The Challenge to the end was to task groups of four candidates that were formed from the final 12 who made it to the Challenge House after the launch.

The JESK group as they called themselves carried out a Snail Farm project as their initiative. The snail farm covers an area of about 4 x 8 meters square with a shade and a well treated dug soil conducive enough for the snails to thrive and multiply in numbers. Their main objective was to set up this project for the orphanage to gain revenue from its sale to support the financial obligations of the Home.

At the ceremony were Mr Ben Foli, a tutor who helped the JESK group to facilitate the project smoothly and Madam Victoria Abraham who represented the Director of the Orphanage and also cut the sword for the commissioning of the Snail Farm.
