At the beginning of the show, the 12 finalists of the Challenge were put into three groups of four and were tasked to undertake a task that will impact the lives of an identified group of people both socially and economically.

The Impact Group made up of Dorinda, Araba, Micheal and Anastacia raised money to train and help revamp the Treasure Chalk Factory which was no longer in operation. The factory is owned and managed by the physically challenged Society. The project sought to restore employment and encourage the physically disadvantaged to do something creative with their talents.

The Brotho Group had Elorm as its leader with Afumaa, Emmanuel and William as members. This group decided to train and open marketing opportunities for the Krobo Beads Association. This they did by organizing a fair at the Accra Mall and setting up a website to enable them reach out to the outside world.

The last group—JESK, made up of Joseph, Enoch, Sandra and Katherine raised money to set up a Snail Farm for inmates of the Faith Foster Home (aka Fafraha Home). The snail farm is to provide a source of income, give the beneficiaries extra income earning skills as well as contribute to growth of agriculture.

After a careful analysis and queries from the Board and Representatives of the three sponsoring universities, Faculty, the Board and sponsors, the JESK group was adjudged as the best Social Economic Impact Task. They each received a trophy and will benefit from a 2 months free management development course to be organized by the British Council.
