One of the tasks for the night was the finalists'justification of why they deserved the ultimate prize. Each was given three minutes to make their pitch for the ultimate prize and it was that nerve-breaking session of the competition that posed the greatest challenge to the finalists.



Each of the six finalists attempted to convince a six-member board why he or she deserves the ultimate prize, but in the end Joseph Opoku emerged winner. Joseph noted that he will want to see Ghanaians benefit fully from the use of mobile phones and will therefore want to go and read Masters in Mobile Telecommunications. “I am a team player, have good communications and analytical skills. I believe in encouraging those around me to go on to achieve their dreams and this I do with my infectious smile” Joseph added. When asked what has brought him so far, this is what Joseph had to say, “Excuses do not work; it is either you have the result or you do not”,
